Do
I have to pay for my child to attend KIPP DIAMOND Academy?
KIPP DIAMOND Academy is a public school of the Memphis City School

is no charge for admission. However, if your scholar is a student
of a county school a fee is required for admission.
Who
is eligible to attend?
Any 4th grader is eligible to apply for fifth grade. The school
does not consider grades or test scores. Students are only admitted
beyond 5th grade if there are vacancies in an upper grade. Other
considerations include sibling attendance.
Where is the school located?
The school is located on Howell Avenue near
Rhodes College. It is located in the building attached to Cypress
Middle School.
Are uniforms required?
Yes, students are required to wear uniforms each day. Uniform shirts
are provided by the school for a small fee.
Is transportation provided?
Students and parents are responsible for transportation. Many KIPP
DIAMOND Academy parents work together to support any transportation
needs.
How
do I sign my child up?
If you are interested in enrolling your scholar for KIPP DIAMOND
Academy you can call and request an application or stop by and pick
up an application. You must provide the most recent report cards
for your scholar and complete an on-site interview. The on-site
interview is a meeting among parents, students, teachers and staff
to give a detailed overview of expectations set forth by KIPP DIAMOND
Academy.
